My guest this week is Blythe Royaards. She and her husband, Eric, are on the board for an organization called the Lost Sparrows whose goal is to stop the flow of orphans into institutions in Bulgaria through education and support of birth families and the recruitment of foster families. She’s a super mom who is usually already homeschooling 4 of her 5 kiddos by 8AM instead of talking to me and who owns a vacuum for every occasion. We also chat about the importance of bringing awareness to post-adoption depression…something that happens even in domestic infant adoptions.
During the show we reference:
- Living in CO and Episode 15’s guest, Hope Forti
- Our mutual friend Summer from Episode 18
- The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis (affiliate link)
- The awesome wall mount vacuum. Blythe named hers “Sebastian.” (affiliate link)
You can connect with Blythe at her blog on her Instagram (@blytheroyaards).
