Not Me! Monday

I did NOT schedule last week’s Foto Friday to post on Thursday. Nope, it was NOT me who walked around all week thinking Thursday was going to be Friday since we were leaving to go out of town that day.
It was NOT me who thought it would be a good idea to drag my 3 kids (7 and under) to my brother’s college graduation weekend 5 hours away sans Patrick. I did NOT make them sit through a stuffy poli-sci mix and mingle, a Baccalaureate service, a 2 1/2 hour graduation ceremony, and a graduation party in a not-so-kid-friendly house all in a 24 hour window of time in 90 degree weather. (Thank goodness my parents were there. Also, truth-be-told, they all did pretty fabulously).
I am super-organized and strive not to be that parent. It was NOT me who sent my first grader to school this morning having neglected to complete his homeword from Thursday. It will NOT be a battle tonight doing 2 nights of homework and a day of make-up work while I’m at a dance rehearsal.
