Not Me! Monday

Not-Me-Monday is a blog carnival started by MckMama. Hop over to her blog to see what others have NOT done this week.

I am NOT considering adding pet stores to our list of monthly outings.  I would NEVER drive 30 minutes just to walk into a store, let my kids stare at the pet displays, and then leave.

We did NOT crank the heat up to record highs around here during the coldest months of the year.  Doing so did NOT cause us to run out of heating oil for the third time in our marriage.  We did NOT make our kids tough it out because we were to cheap to buy a gas can and some diesel to get us through.

I do NOT write great blog posts in my head while I’m driving and then promptly forget them when I walk in the door.

I would NOT watch my youngest son dramatically cry over something silly and then record it and put it on our blog for all to see.  (Before you feel sorry for him, notice how he’s watching to see who’s looking before putting his head down to continue with what should have been an Oscar-winning performance).

  • Ha, I do the same exact thing with blog posts, except its usually right when I'm about to fall asleep at night and I always think I will remember my very eloquent thoughts in the morning..... um, not so much!

  • Just stopped by from MckMama's site. I love the video! I've gotten the camera out and snapped pictures of my litle one's tantrums before, but I may just have to record one so that when he's older he can see just how silly he looks!

    I totally "write" blog posts in my head while driving, and lots of times in the middle of the night when I'm sandwiched in bed between my husband and toddler and can't get up to actually write them.
