My kids have been quite the pranksters lately. Their favorite trick is switching the remote controls for the lights in the bedrooms. Their bedroom and our bedroom have identical controls. When they switch them the victim goes to turn the light on in a room and the lights in the room around the corner start to [...]
Not-Me-Monday is a blog carnival started by MckMama. Hop over to her blog to see what others have NOT done this week.
I did NOT think it was a grand idea to take 3 kids under 7 kite flying after school on Wednesday.
I was NOT overwhelmed by referreeing the two older kids plus all the [...]
So my husband has officially hopped on the blogging train. He won’t be contributing here any longer as he has been contributing to his own personal blog almost daily for about a week. I’ve added a convenient link in our navigation bar or you can just go to www.patrickcorkum.com.
Leave him a little love as he [...]
3 weeks after planting
Generally everything is doing well (everything that’s come up, that is). We’re still waiting on rosemary, chives, and a couple peppers. It also turns out that the lettuce and broccoli seedlings doesn’t do well in all day sun. I think they’re a little too fragile.

1. Touch tactics. Instead of yelling from across the room, get your child’s attention by making physical contact. Then, with him looking you in the eye, make your request (i.e., brush your teeth, clean up your toys, etc.). While this won’t guarantee [...]
I’m thrilled to report that I’ve had so many answered prayers that I wasn’t sure which one to post. So I think I’m just going to go with recent. Ever since Patrick decided to step out in faith to start Insquare, LLC., we’ve been doing a lot of praying (more than normal). I’ll admit a [...]
This blog is a photography-dabbling, veggie-loving, housework-hating, triathlon-trying, grace-needing mom's attempt to capture life as it happens with 3 kids (one adopted from Korea). God's brought me full circle as an adult adoptee also from Korea. We hope you enjoy sharing our journey with us. You can subscribe via email or rss below.
