Light at the end of the tunnel

This morning I filed Ty’s finalization paperwork. For Korean adoptions, one does not adopt in country but Korea actually transfers guardianship to our agency. The actual legal adoption takes place about 6 months after placement. We had our last post placement visit yesterday which allowed us to file today. Now we just sit and pray that we’ll reach the end of the tunnel (aka. get a court date) before December 31, 2009. If we don’t, we will not be able to file for our tax credit until next year.
