I have NOT been collecting items for 2 weeks since McMama took Memorial Day off.
Ty did NOT pick the 3 seconds he was without a diaper to pee all over the bathroom at school this last week. Timing is everything since it did NOT take him 3 HOURS to decide to pee when I actually needed him to.
I did NOT turn off our alarm clock so Ty could sleep in causing Patrick to oversleep…sorry love. Yeah, I do NOT covet my quiet mornings at all.
I am NOT delaying getting the kids’ fluoride prescription refilled until a good gift card deal comes around. I am NOT that cheap.
I did NOT confidently tell Patrick that we owned National Treasure. We did NOT tell our kids they could watch it last night only to figure out we don’t own it. We did NOT let them watch the 9PM FX showing because we felt bad. PJ did NOT stay up to watch the whole thing while Patrick and I fell asleep on the couch.
I did NOT answer my phone to see that Patrick was too lazy to come up from the basement and he was calling my cell from our home phone downstairs.
My dozen and a half eggs did NOT shift in the trunk of our van while I was driving home from the grocery store. As I opened the trunk, they did NOT jump out of the carton one-by-one to a certain death on the driveway asphalt. (4 did manage to survive).
Less than 10 minutes after the above indicent, a cup of yogurt did NOT leap out of my hands half-open and splat all over my kitchen floor. Ty did NOT try to fingerpaint in the vanilla goodness all over my floor.
I did NOT let a $6 Register Rewards expire from Walgreens.
Ty did NOT fall asleep for 7 stinkin’ minutes in the car on the way home and scream for an hour before I finally gave in and got him up. I did NOT sleep on the floor next to his crib while he screamed. At least one of us got sleep
