Sweet…
I had the privilege of meeting two of Maryland’s newest arrivals this week. What a sweet time of celebrating life. There’s such a sense of wonder when holding a newborn…maybe because the stage is so short-lived.
Bitter…
Today I found out that one of my friends lost her daughter during (or shortly after) birth due to a cord accident. It’s my understanding that the cord was wrapped around her throat multiple times. I sat staring at the screen as I read the words “K—-’s little girl E—- did not make it.” I remember when she was talking about getting pregnant again. I remember when the test came back positive. I remember all the cute belly pictures she posted. It’s all so surreal. Will you keep her in your prayers over the next few weeks?
